This agreement is also available in German; both versions are equally binding.
Version 1.0 · Effective date:
This agreement is between you and the developer of Doppelgänger ("we") — Boris Iljadica, Herbststr. 7c, 86415 Mering, Germany. Purchases are processed by Creem as merchant of record; the licence for the software is granted by us.
When you buy Doppelgänger, you get a perpetual, non-transferable licence to use it on up to 5 Macs that you own or control, for personal or business use. Doppelgänger is for macOS only.
You buy Doppelgänger as it is at the time of purchase, as described on this website. You can try every feature free for 14 days first. Updates may add or improve features, but no future feature is promised. This does not affect the updates we owe you by law to keep the software working as described, including security updates.
Purchases are final; see the refund policy.
Your purchase includes every version released within one year of the purchase date, and a renewal adds a year from its own purchase date. Your licence never expires, and the versions it covers never lock themselves. How this works in practice is explained on the pricing page.
Without a licence, Doppelgänger runs in a limited free mode after the trial. What it includes is described on the pricing page.
You may not share, sell or publish your licence key or the software, or modify the software to use it without a valid licence.
Doppelgänger controls your Sonos system through the local interfaces of your Sonos speakers, and plays the music services you have added to that system. Sonos and the music service providers control these, not us. We are not affiliated with Sonos or any music service.
They may change, restrict or discontinue them at any time — for example through a firmware update, including one your Sonos system installs automatically, a change of policy or a change of ownership. Sonos has made such changes before: in 2020 it introduced S2, which was not compatible with S1, so older speakers could not move to it and households could no longer combine them. If a change like this happens, individual features or Doppelgänger as a whole may stop working. We will try to adapt the software, but we cannot guarantee that a fix is possible. Please take this into account before you buy.
Supported music services are the ones listed as tested on our website at the time of your purchase. Other services on your Sonos system may also work, but we have not tested them and do not promise that they do.
